I am a pianist, percussionist, composer, and software engineer (and not always in that order).
I currently play piano in a jazz group, and record my own music in my home studio, primarily using Ableton Live.
I used to do this sort of thing full-time, writing music for TV & radio ads, theater, dance, puppetry, video games, and anything that needed a tune or two. Example of music I’ve done can be found on the Music page.
I’ve recently started writing about art-making and the creative process, largely based on my experiences going through creative burnout and back. Some of these essays can be found in the blog section.
By day, I work as a mild-mannered software engineer for Infinite Red.
